In the Public Hearing Held on May 13, 2014 for Utilities Fees, the Kimberly City Council was present with the different options for the sewer rate increase, and dissolving the rebate on the water bond. After the hearing had closed the Kimberly City Council voted 3-1 to raise the sewer rates to $9.20 due to the 27% hike passed on from the City of Twin Falls. The Kimberly City Council voted 4-0 to dissolve the $6.08 rebate to the citizens on the Water Bond as the reserve bank had now been depleted.
